WELDED BLADE STABILIZERS
FEATURES: "UDT Make"  Welded Blade Stabilizer is made of AISI 4145 H alloy steel. The body has upset for attaching blades. The blades are  welded to body with closely controlled pre-heating of welded areas and stress relief of completed welds. All blades are hard surfaced with granular tungsten carbide. Hole size through 17- ½” are3-rib,right hand spiraled design. These are available in either near-bit or string type. Connections are cold-rolled, phosphatized, coated and equipped with thread protectors. All connections are machined to API specifications.  ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS: When ordering or requesting quotation, please specify: Hole size and type of stabilizer (string or Near Bit). Drill Collar ID and OD (Stabilizer neck size) . Connections type and size. Hard facing type.

HARDFACING
UNITED has developed different types of hardfacings  for stabilizer blades, each adapted to a specific use to meet your particular requirement. UNITED currently provides a solution to all problems of abrasion linked with drilling operations and equipment through different types of hardfacings. Applications and Performances U-PLOY: Stabilizers (U-PLOY W)   Satisfactory  behaviour in soft  formations. Mills ( U-PLOY S): Excellent  behaviour thanks to its matrix  specially designed to release worn grains. U-FLAME: -         Stabilizers : Excellent behaviour even in very hard or very abrasive formations or H2S environment. Adheres well to its support. Sound deposit, without cracks in spite of its extreme hardness. -         Protection: Pieces subjected to severe abrasion phenomena in very hard formation (roller cutter edges and hole opener arm). U-PIC OR U-SERT: Stabilizers : Excellent behaviour even in very hard and very abrasive formations. Excellent impact strength, and abrasion and corrosion resistance to H 2 S.
